Convert your favorite bar-end shifters into clean, ergonomic thumb shifters with Rivendell's beautifully engineered Silver Thumb Shifter Mounts. Designed specifically for Rivendell Silver1 and Silver2 shifters, these mounts also work with Shimano bar-end shifters, giving you a simple and reliable shifting solution for touring, commuting, gravel, and adventure bikes.

What sets these mounts apart is their incredible adjustability. The rotating clamp offers 16 different cable exit positions, allowing you to route your shift housing cleanly regardless of where the shifter is positioned on the handlebar. The result is smoother cable routing, less friction, and a cleaner-looking cockpit.

Each mount is sold individually, making them perfect for 1x drivetrains, mixed shifter setups, or replacing a single mount.

Mount Selection

• X Mount: Right-hand inside shifter
• O Mount: Left-hand inside shifter

For shifters mounted outside the grips:

• Install the O Mount on the right side
• Install the X Mount on the left side

When pairing with Rivendell Silver1 or Silver2 shifters, simply match Type O shifters with O Mounts and Type Xshifters with X Mounts.

Compatibility Notes

• Fits 22.2mm flat and swept-back handlebars with the included shims.
• Fits the sleeve section of 26.0mm handlebars with the shims removed.
• Also mounts perfectly to many 1" quill stems.
• Not compatible with the grip section of drop handlebars such as the Albastache.

Installation Tip

If mounting the shifter immediately next to some mountain-style brake levers, the shifter body may contact the brake lever clamp bolt. In those cases, you may need to swap the brake levers side-to-side unless using levers with recessed clamp hardware, such as Dia-Compe SS-6 or Paul Components brake levers.
